Editing

Standard Editing includes checking spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency and appropriateness of verb tenses, transitional phrasing, continuity/flow of thoughts, and support of statements.  This is a basic package and does not include sentence re-writes.

Content Editing includes Standard Editing (spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency/appropriateness of verb tenses, transitional phrasing, continuity/flow of thoughts, support of statements) PLUS supplementary sentence re-writes when necessary.
This package includes basic sentence re-writes when necessary.


A deposit of 1/2 of the agreed price will be due via PayPal before any edits will be made.

I believe that a good editor is someone who lets you keep your own voice and style while at the same time, making sure the your words say exactly what they need to say in the very best possible way.  I believe in open communication and discussion throughout the editing process.  I believe that a manuscript is the fruit of your blood, sweat and tears and should be respected as such.  Every manuscript is different and presents its own needs and challenges.  There really is no ‘one price fits all’, because what works for one will not work for another.  As the author, you have the final say on every decision concerning your work.
